Who we are:
A team of special educators, psychologists, technologist and psychiatric social workers striving to make a difference to society by ensuring no child is left behind when it comes to education. With that objective, we have created an online platform to handhold children with slow learning disabilities, provide curated content for remedial coaching for children with severe learning disorders, and work with children who opt for open schooling to excel in the career of their choice.
The Need
The "State of the Education Report for India: Children with Disabilities" of 2019 reported that there are over 7.86 million children with disabilityspecial needs in India, constituting 1.7 % of the total child population of the nation. Over 2.2 million of these children have developmental and related mental disorders resulting in intellectual impairment. Available data also clearly indicates that only about 25% of these children with Special Education Needs (SEN) attend school.

We at Tacit agree with him and firmly believe that learning should be implicit, sometimes even unstated. This belief has defined our strategy and encouraged us to create a platform to move away from a structured curriculum to a curated one customized to the education needs of each individual child.
The Origin
The idea of Tacit Edutech took shape when a group of entrepreneurs with expertise in psychology, psychiatric social work, expertise in technology support and special education backgrounds decided to focus on pioneer online education focusing on for children who want to pursue education but are unable to participate in the mainstream education process due to a variety of reasons including disability.
It was born out of a thought process and a common passion to assist children who are home schooled as well as kids who require special attention for learning thus catering to the entire spectrum of open schooling. On further ideation, Team Tacit decided that The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) curriculum would be ideal for the educational needs of this population.
Tacit Edutech looks forward to offering quality online learning programs for kids with special learning needs or for children who have opted for homeschooling with an objective to excel in what they are passionate about.

What we do:
Another Einstein quote! Never judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree. We at Tacit take conscious effort to understand a child’s need based on their learning capability and assist them to grasp the subject using established tools and techniques. The schedule of the curriculum is finalized based on the primary assessment of the children especially with special needs (We also provide those child assessment services!) and after discussing the individual lesson plan with parents. While our end goal is to improve the learning outcome of children with special needs, we genuinely feel that this should not be a hurried-up process and the students should be allowed to learn at their own pace. The platform uses audio-visual tools, kinesthetics, and mind mapping tools to help the students retain information and understand concepts.

We provide a digital platform catering specifically to the curriculum of NIOS and Remedial services. The resources are designed in a way that is amicable for use even by children with learning disabilities, slow learners and other intellectual disabilities. Every content will aid the visual perceptive skills and kindle the cognitive process of the special needs children.
As a pure online medium of education, we connect the children’s classroom to the best teachers thus creating a perfect environment for optimal learning.
Our endeavor is to build a single ecosystem where children are provided with the best education and can also access essential services such as psychological counseling, assessment services, career guidance, occupational therapies, and assistance on the NIOS curriculum.
We want to equip parents with the knowledge and awareness to assist children with special needs in improving the learning outcome.
We ensure that our teachers are properly trained not only on the subject areas but on also handling special children and on child protection policies.
